| Tracking is more than just reading and following tracks, you also need to read and understand the signs left behind by animals. Signs can be; trails, beds, hair, fur, scat (animal droppings) or a broken twig. Sign tracking is fun and easy to learn. Half of tracking is seeing these signs and understanding them. The other half is working with the tracks themselves. Recognizing a perfect track in the mud and identifying the critter is a good start. It will take many years of dirt time to be able to identify part of a track, tell the age of a track, the gender of the animal, the emotional state of the animal, etc... This Game will help you identify some of the signs and tracks associated with animals. New critters will be added to the list and information updated often so check back and test your skills. |
