This is a great trip to explore with the canoe for a few hours. The river is slow moving as it runs through a beautiful valley. There is easy access to the water and lots of camping in the area so make a couple of nights of it. I would consider this an excellent spot for the beginner paddler. Don't forget your pole,for it is a great place to practice. |
