Palouse Falls (WA)
This is a wonder filled trip through
a very unique landscape and one
that you will not soon forget.  The
put in is at Lyons Ferry State Park
at the confluence of the Snake
and Palouse river.  It is flat water
for the first 4 miles then the river
narrows and picks up currant for
the next 2 miles.  The water was
low and I had to wade a few of the
rock gardens.  You could hike
your way in, just be aware of the
Rattle Snakes, Ticks, and the
Poison Ivy.  The falls is a
spectacular 200 foot drop and is
definitely worth the effort of getting
there.
